A fracas between two security personnel employed at Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's residence here ended in a shootout that killed one of the guards.

Chandra Pratap Singh, a private security guard employed with TOP security agency and posted at Khan's residence "Mannat" in western Mumbai's Bandra area, was shot by colleague Hitendra Singh late Monday night, said a police official.

Hitendra, who was also injured in the incident, was admitted to a hospital for treatment. He was later arrested and the firearm seized.

The cause of the altercation is not yet known, the official said.
