He may not have a lot going for him career-wise, but Pulkit Samrat continues to be in the spotlight for his alleged relationship with 'Sanam Re' co-star Yami Gautam.
Last November, rumours of him moving in with the actress had surfaced and now, gossip mills are abuzz that the much-in-love couple had recently taken off for a holiday. On their return on Sunday afternoon, Pulkit apparently spotted a swarm of photographers waiting outside the arrival gate and made a dash to his car leaving Yami behind.
Says an eyewitness, `They landed quite late in the evening and weren't expecting the paparazzi to be there. So, as soon as Pulkit saw a familiar face in the crowd, he ran towards his car and hid himself. When Yami walked out of the terminal a few seconds later, it all made sense. The actress, however, seemed composed and comfortable despite the media presence.
Pulkit denies the buzz. In a text message, he says, `Huh? (A piece of) Paper costs us a tree. Don't waste it by printing what's not true.` However, a photographer who was present at the spot, says, `Though the couple may have holidayed together, they didn't want to come out of the airport together. Pulkit was the first to walk out and Yami followed a few minutes later. They might have planned on going home in separate cars, but what they clearly weren't expecting is a bunch of photographers waiting outside. So, when Pulkit spotted the lensmen, he sprinted towards his car. He probably couldn't warn Yami in time, so when she stepped out, she was caught by the cameras.`
The two actors, it is said, fell in love while filming for Divya Khosla Kumar's Sanam Re last year. The actress was even blamed for his divorce with Salman Khan's rakhi sister Shweta Rohira. Six months ago, they were rumoured to have zeroed in on a love nest in Gurgaon.
