Waluscha De Sousa was apparently detained at the Chicago airport for over half a day and later deported to India

Waluscha De Sousa, the model-turned-actress who made her B-Town debut with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Fan', was apparently detained at the Chicago airport on Thursday and later deported to India due to visa issues.

The actress landed in Mumbai on Sunday night after being detained for over half a day. Says a source, `The airport authorities checked with the actress' manager, who was also travelling with her, about the purpose of her visit. When they were told that she had come through Exceed Entertainment to Chicago to participate in an event, they detained her as she had a tourist visa and not the mandatory work visa.`

While Waluscha remained unavailable for comment, an official from Exceed Entertainment denied the incident saying, `Nothing of that sort has happened. She has completed her commitment and returned.`
