The 48-year-old mother of two met and spoke to the children, who are battling with the disease.
She chose the unique way to mark the World No Tobacco Day.
"Today is the day to destroy the habit that destroys you... Went to meet Little kids.. Cancer patients... Makes you wonder about life. And gratitude for the big gifts we take for granted... Health," she wrote on Twitter.
The former Miss India was last seen in education drama "Chalk n Duster".
