Vicky Kaushal who shot to fame with his portrayal of a simple boy next door in Masaan, will now be seen playing a different character in Raman Raghav 2.0. The actor who essays the tole of a on the edge cop, who treading the line between good and evil, plays a reckless cop who a substance abuser. In order to look his part, that of a drug addict, Vicky did several things to look the part.
Vicky to look dehydrated and fat free for his role started following a strict diet with less salt in his food and drank less water.Vicky had to cut down on his appetite and give up his regular food habits. Raman and Raghav 2.0 has created a buzz in the media and Vicky's role in the film of a tough and brutal cop has got him lot of appreciation from his fellow industry people.
When asked to Vicky about it he said `My character in the film is a drug addicted. Anurag Sir wanted me to lose a lot of fat and look completely lean and dehydrated in the film. For this, I had to follow a strict diet. My workout regime included a lot of body weight training and cardio and very less consumption of water during the shoot of the film."
