Freida Pinto joins forces with Michelle Obama for a cause

Freida Pinto is joining hands with First Lady Michelle Obama for the Let Girls Learn initiative.

The two, along with Obama's daughters Sasha and Malia, their grandmother Marian Robinson will travel to Liberia, Morocco and Spain at the end of June as part of the initiative. The focus of the trip is for them to speak to young girls about the importance of education and staying in school.

In Liberia, Pinto and Obama will take part in a discussion which will cover the educational barriers girls face in the country and when they stop in Morocco, Meryl Streep will join the two to discuss the challenges women in the African country deal with on a regular basis.
