The makers of upcoming action drama Akira have released the first teaser poster of the movie. Produced by Fox Star Studios, the film is directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini fame and stars the very talented Sonakshi Sinha.

The actress will be seen in a new action avatar for this movie and has undergone rigourous training to get into the skin of her character. Sonakshi's fans have a reason to rejoice with this new poster as it also announces the date of the movie's release. The film is now slated to hit the theatres on 2nd September 2016.
