If we go by the reports, then one of the recent statements of Salman, where he drew an analogy between his hectic schedule for 'Sultaan' and plight of a rape victim, has fetched tons of ire for him.
Reports suggest that, in response to a question on the hectic shooting schedule for his upcoming film in which he plays a wrestler, Salman stated that "It is like the most difficult thing....When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be actually like a raped woman walking out."
Although, soon after realising his blooper Salman tried to pessify the situations and stated that, "I don't think I should have" and proceeded to say, "It feels like the most difficult. I couldn't take steps. I couldn't take steps."
But by then the damage was already done.
Now, if we go by the recent hearsay relating to this whole incident then it suggests that NCW (National Commission for Women) has sent Salman a letter asking why he made the remark.
While addressing the media NCW chief Lalitha Kumaramangalam stated that "This is very sad. Just because he is Salman Khan doesn't mean he will make such a statement," she told media, adding that the commission has given him seven days to apologise.
With this new controversy mounting on his shoulder, we guess Salman will prefer to be more cautious with his words in the future.
