While she was away working, the favourite of Bollywood was really missed and she missed home too.
Deepika is all happy about coming back home and making up for all the time she was away from India.
The Piku actress adds, "India is home, and that's never going to change."
Deepika's connect with India is really deep rooted, while speaking to a popular publication, Deepika further added, "My roots are here, and at the end of the day, it's about your roots. You can't take India out of me. People go for holidays, but eventually, come back home. So, no matter where I go in the world, this [India] is home, and that will never change."
Ask her about how different is working in Hollywood from working in Bollywood, she says, `It was the same in terms of every minute detail. That's what made me feel at home; made me feel comfortable. Most importantly, like any other film, all of us were on a journey.`
Elaborating more on her experience shooting in Hollywood with people of different ethnicities, Deepika shared, "It was great fun. It was not about different people from different parts of the world coming together. We all came with our cultures to make a fun-filled and interesting movie. I am sure that will translate on screen too."
