Kohli, who replaces Farhan Akhtar in the second innings of popular dance show, is excited about returning to television.
"I am not a great dancer but I am particularly looking forward to the show because my roots are in television and it is like homecoming for me. Besides, the programme has got a tremendous following among viewers," said Kohli.
Kohli will team up with ace choreographer-friend Saroj Khan and ace dancer Malaika Arora to judge the contestants.
"Saroj-ji had choreographed some of the numbers of 'Fanaa'. I have done several music videos with her and she is a great person to relate to. I recently did a photo shoot with Malaika and I am sure we'll make an excellent threesome."
Meanwhile, Kohli is inundated with calls from curious friends wanting to know the next social cause he is planning to take up after he recently waxed eloquent in a TV talk show on current affairs.
"I have no intentions of turning a fulltime social activist if that's what people want to know but I do like to voice my views on issues concerning the society at large."
