Interestingly, the director came to research for his next film which will show the reality behind the glitz and glamour.
"I am looking forward to make a film on the inside stories of fashion world, that's why I was interested in watching the ramp shows at this fashion week," Bhandarkar told.
Bhandarkar, who is famous for making films on hard-hitting subjects inspired by real life incidents, for instance - "Page 3", "Chandni Bar" and "Corporate", was examining every department of the fashion industry -- from going to greenrooms to interacting with models.
"I am not only looking at the catwalk of the models, but also giving a close look at the entire set up. Audience and camerapersons have particularly caught my eyes," said Bhandarkar, who attended the fashion event for the last days.
The research and study is surely time consuming and, therefore, the director will take time to come out with the final product.
"My aim is to make a movie as close as possible to real life," he said, and added: "As for now, I am at the first stage of my research work and it'll take time to do proper study."
Accompanying him was Mukesh Tyagi, who played an important role in his film "Corporate". He was also carefully watching the shows.
