Actress Kangana Ranaut is pleased at bagging plum assignments, including "Woh Lamhe" a take on the
relationship between Mahesh Bhatt and the late Parveen Babi. Kangana is all praise for Parveen.
"I admire Parveen Babi for her beauty, her talent and the fact that she was capable of loving. She was a
dignified woman and I have the highest regard for her.
It was very heartbreaking to hear the taped
conservation (between Bhatt and Parveen), which made me realise that she was very helpless and
depressed."
The actress was shooting for "Gangster" in South Korea when Mukesh Bhatt offered her the role.
"I feel very honoured and privileged that I was chosen for this role. Playing Sana was difficult but I
thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very different from the character of Simran that I played in 'Gangster'.
"My director Mohit Suri made it much easier for me since he knew what he wanted. Bhatt Saab, Mohit and
I used to discuss the screenplay and I think I've done a decent job," said Kangana.
She is through with the dubbing and the film will release Sep 29.
