Raveena Tandon has joined hands with Altaf and Roshni of Saathi, the organization that works for the betterment of street children. It was Pervin Varma of Cry who put her through Saathi.

Raveena wanted to seriously pursue her interest in charity. With the growing population of street children, Saathi required another place in Andheri to accommodate them. Raveena bought a spacious room in Andheri. She intends to work hand in hand with organizers.Raveena said that while the children who had reached puberty could easily take care of themselves, what worried her was the plight of the young ones. "And I want to do something about it," she smiled.
