We see and hear about a lot of people coming to the city of dreams with visions to fulfil. Pawan Kumar Sharma too came to Mumbai with a dream to pen down his imaginations and experiences. Yes he came with a dream to become a writer and a director. The first step towards his dream was the recently released, critically acclaimed Hindi feature film Fuddu of which he has written an intellectual script, screenplay and dialogues.

His voyage includes from assisting Sangeeth Sivan, Manoj Tyagi as a writer and director, producing T.V. commercials and a lot more on floor activities. The city of dreams, Mumbai pulled the U.P. lad to satisfy his creative pursuits. With a non-film-making background Pawan quit T.V. commercials to follow his passion of writing scripts amongst which Fuddu was the first one. With self-confidence the writer travelled from Delhi to Haryana to Agra and finally after 2 years he saw a light of hope and that's how Fuddu was born.

Like his real life story, Fuddu too is a film about dreams and hopes. It's the story of a middle class boy who comes to Mumbai with dreams of making it big in life.


The earthy story of the film demanded for fresh faces wherein they got newcomers Shubham and Swati Kapoor under the direction of Anurag Basu's associate Sunil Subramani. Understanding the trend these days to promote any film one needs to have a star value, Fuddu got incredible support from actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Leone, Sharman Joshi, Gauahar Khan and Anita Hassanandani to do their phenomenal promotional songs. Pawan is presently ravished with great reviews from the critics and the industry for mainly its content.

This is not all; Pawan has also penned down many more scripts which he plans to even direct as his next step toward his dream and is all set to announce them sooner. Confident about his scripts he believes in making intelligent and content driven films with amazing creative ideas. Apart from writing the script of Fuddu, Pawan Kumar Sharma has also co-produced the film under his banner Paradiso Productions and plans to take it forward in near future.
