ANUJ SACHDEVA: It is a huge but a positive move on part of Mr Narendra Modi to at least start to put an end to corruption in this country. Black money has been one major drawback because of which our economy hasn't progressed. However this may not put a complete end to corruption because most of the black money hoarders have their monies stashed in foreign banks or in the form of gold. There is a long struggle to reach there but am glad this is a much needed start. Kudos to our PM for this strike on black money hoarders. And reminder to everyone to pay their taxes.

KUNAL JAISINGH: Its a well calibrated move... proud of my prime minister on taking this step... the uncountable blackmoney is now stuck and all the fake currency being pumped into our country has taken a hit... jai hind!!!

RAHUL BHATT: I think it's a master stroke from our honourable prime minister . In india we need corrections like this , and am sure those people who don't have bank accounts even now , although the govt. had made it possible earlier for everyone to have a bank account , yet if there are some very poor and downtrodden sections of society , they should be able to get the currency change even during these few days also.

ROOP DURGAPAL: At the moment it is damn uncomfortable as neither the ATMs are going to work nor the banks and nobody is accepting these notes as the news broke but in long run it is expected to curb the circulation of fake notes & black money.

MAHIKA SHARMA: Moves for welfare are difficult and this is also a difficult one but it will help us to get rid of black money. I am happy with the PM's idea. And hope we succedd and get sorted out from fake money.

SHAMIN MANNAN: I think this step is like a surgical strike against corruption n black money. I am happy with this decision though it will be little troublesome for everyone initially due to the sudden mess but in long run it will be proven to be a very brave step against corruption.

MANISH GOPLANI: MANISH GOPLANI: Respected President and Prime Minister of India. A special thanks and dedicated regards from me. It is essential to get rid of black money for my/our country, Where together we all can lead to successful, prosperous life. I personally Loved Mr. Prime minister's action and proud to get Him on the post. Yes,Initially for all of us it would be a little difficult to get the money exchanged but As, Our nation needs common action to make it better than ever before and We all must be up for it.

TANYA SHARMA: I think modiji took a huge step against corruption and I'm totally with it ya people with low incomes are having problems because they have savings in cash and doesn't even have a bank acount but all the black money will get out and hopefully this is a first step towards corruption free country.

PARINEETA BORTHAKUR: I am happy about this take of our honorable Prime minister because it will bring out all the black money and will help in the growth of our economy. I have always been someone who hates corruption and injustice of any kind!

SANJAY GAGNANI: This is a very bold, progressive and welcoming step by our PM. The motive is very clear which is to eradicate corruption and black money in the country. It will directly affect the economy of our country in a positive manner. The economy will be much stronger and cleaner in the coming time. Hats off to our PM and govt for trying their best to make India a better and stronger country.

MADHURIMA TULI: As long as the common people are not getting affected it's a great move taken by Modi Ji. Black money was a major issue in our country. Really happy to see this change in our time.

PARAS MADAAN: I salute our honorable PM for taking this historical step which will definitely not only curb malpractices and control the parallel shady economy that is ruining the country's vitals but will also help control unwanted price inflation. Though this sudden decision will leave everyone in a panic state but i believe that we, as honest Indians, should support this anti black money drive and support our PM by doing our bit.

KARANVIR SHARMA: It's something that we the people have been wanting for the longest time, to eradicate Black Money.Although leaving you with alot of thoughts which i hope we get an answer to. Like, why introduce Rs.2000 denomination?. How long will we be free from corruption and black money ?. If the circulation of fake notes and unaccounted notes occurs again, can we expect another currency reform ?Just a few thoughts that need to be answered for the country. But as an overall, this initiative shall be beneficial to the people.
