Ranveer Singh is currently gearing up for the release of his romantic film 'Befikre', while simultaneously shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's periodic drama 'Padmavati'. The actor, who has been tight-lipped about the film, shocked fans when he gave them a peek at his character of Alauddin Khilji.

Ranveer posted an intense shot of only his eyes. Even though it didn't reveal much, the intensity of his eyes has got people talking. The actor has also confirmed the release date of the film to be 17 November, 2017. In a previous interview, Ranveer compared his role of Alaudin Khilji to that of the Joker in the Dark Knight series. Going by this picture, it is clear that he will truly be menacing.


'Padmavati' also stars Deepika Padukone as the titular character with Shahid Kapoor playing her husband Raja Rawal Singh. Stay tuned for more updates.
