Richa Chadha has always been the one to step her right foot forward. The acclaimed actress of anyone follows her on social media would know that she's never apologetic to take a stance and support what she strongly feels is right. The actress who's currently busy with wrapping up the shoot of her web show Powerplay and prep work for Fukrey 2 has come forth this time for a rather noble cause. The actress has joined hands with her aunt who happens to run a charitable school in a small town in Uttar Pradesh by the name of Bulandshahr.

The school has been running for over 20 years by her aunt who left her life in New Delhi to start this school which aims to provide affordable education till High School for all children of the town who belong to low-income groups. Since the town has incessant power cuts, Richa has now stepped in help to set up a solar project for the school so that the school never stops operation due to the lack of power which causes hindrance for regular day to day functioning of the school. Richa is working on the project alongside and the project will be ready and running by early next year. When asked Richa about it she said, "Solar energy is an under-utilised clean source of energy in our country. I am glad I'm able to do something, even at this small level in order to ensure that the kids at this school can have electricity and understand the power of green energy."
