Last year Actress Richa Chadha had produced her first short Punjabi film 'Khoon Aali Chithhi', directed by her friend Rupinder Inderjit. It's a story is based on the terrorism in the 1980s and 1990s due to the Khalistan movement in Punjab. The film was screened at multiple film festivals and was appreciated by the audiences as well as the film fraternity.

Because the film gives a social message and gives knowledge about the riots which took place in Punjab, Richa is planning to take the film to small towns in Punjab to make the people aware and give them knowledge and understand what had actually happened because it's an integral part of their history syllabus. She will be showing the films to kids of the school and faculty members in Punjab. When asked Richa about the same she said, "Khoon Aali chithi is a film I'm extremely proud of.

Rupinder is a dear friend and he directed the film which is based in the 80s around the Khalistan Movement in Punjab. The film and its theme is very significant from a historical point of view and it's important that young kids in colleges be aware of such a subject. Thus the director and I are planning to travel with the film to small towns in Punjab to increase the awareness and show the film in various educational institutes."
