Emojifi's product is entirely digital and she has a great digital fan base globally, therefore Sunny and Emojifi are a great fit. Sunny also has an Oomph factor which is necessary for an active user base. Sunny liked and appreciated Emojifi's unique and patented technology which can allow her friends, fans to communicate in their daily lives across chat applications like whatsapp, fb messenger, hike etc and not only on only one chat app.
Emojifi Founding team: Emojifi is the brain child of Varun MS, Manan Maheshwari and Mahesh Gogineni who are alums of BITS-Pilani, Duke University and Stanford GSB. They are a balanced and capable team with great executional capabilities. The trio have complementary skill sets and great understanding among themselves - with a successful exit already under their belt from their previous startup, Zapluk (acquired by Quikr). Emojifi has already received seed funding from angel investors from Hyderabad and in final rounds of discussions to get on-board one of the biggest celebrities in India as an investor.
