Akshay Kumar who was last seen in Jolly LLB 2 has started the shooting of his wife Twinkle Khanna's debut production venture 'Pad Man'.

'Pad Man' is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who is also known as Pad Man as he found a way to make cheap and affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village, who could not afford expensive sanitary pads.

On Tuesday Akshay took to twitter and shared a photo with his wife and captioned it as "Embarking on a new journey, this time with the Mrs. First day of @mrsfunnybones' #Padman directed by R. Balki,need ur love & luck as always"
