Her only claim to fame so far has been the Miss India title. Even if one regards films like Raj Kumar Santoshi`s Pukar and Mahesh Manjrekar`s Tera Mera Saath Rahe as successes, Namrata had little to do with them.

Personally, Namrata makes no bones about the fact that she relies heavily on star secretary Rikku Rakeshnath for professional survival. "I`ve realized that one ought to have a godfather in this industry tosurvive," Namrata stated recently.

But why was she spotted with mentor, guide and director Mahesh Manjrekar at two in the morning dining at a restaurant in the suburbs of Mumbai? May be she wants to be a `survivor` and was on the lookout for a suitable `godfather`. But do godfathers help you swallow better, Namrata, that too in the wee hours off the morning?
