Nonetheless, she is pleased as punch. Life post "Dor", in which she played a simple and conventional Rajasthani girl with negative shades who lives by the strict traditions of her Rajput roots, is rocking.
The actress is upbeat about her forthcoming films -- "Kya Love Story Hai", "De Taali" and "Salaam-E-Ishq", reports Bollywood Trade.
When quizzed her about accepting a negative role at this stage in her career, she said: "It all depends on how interesting or challenging the character is. Personally, I feel it's better to do one good, meaningful film than six glamorous films. I guess 'Dor' has been my dream role so far. I want to do roles that have substance and those that help me grow as an actor."
What's her take on astrology?
"I don't believe in astrology. I don't think one stone or one number here and there can change your life. I've never visited an astrologer," she replied.
Ask her about awards and she gets candid.
"I'd be lying if I say that they don't mean anything to me. Who doesn't enjoy those five minutes of glory? Moreover, who doesn't like being up there though it's not like it's the most important thing in the world."
