Mark it in red letters. On May 14 Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka shot the historic Khai ke paan benaras wala song in Don.

And the song was choreographed by none other than the dancers' diva Saroj Khan.

History has a strange way of linking its children.. 26 years ago Saroj Khan's mentor and guru P.L. Raj had choreographed Khai ke paan benaras wala for Chandra Barot's Don.

The song had been filmed on Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman.

Says Saroj Khan, "I was looking forward to doing a song that P.L. Rajji had done. But I couldn't do it the way he did it. I obviously choreographed it keeping in mind Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka and the changing times and tempo."

Saroj Khan is charged about working with Priyanka. "After my two favourites Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit and Madame Aishwarya Rai, I see the dancer's grace in Priyanka.."

Priyanka squeals in delight at the mention of the super-choreographer. "It's been my dream to work with Saroj-ji. I can't tell you how excited I was about working with her, and that too for Khai ke paan benaras wala with Shah Rukh."

Incidentally the Shah Rukh fan club has a new honorary member. "I've been his fan for...like forever. But working with him I've become a double fan. He's such a generous co-star. He's always helpful, constantly trying to make me comfortable. Shah Rukh is addictive. I want to work with him again and again. "
