Vidya Balan, who graced the internationally famed Rann Utsav in Bhuj to promote her slice-of-life family film, Tumhari Sulu, a few days back, generated much crowd frenzy as she walked bare-feet among visitors on the white sand desert on a full-moon night.
The Gujarat tourism authorities offered the supremely talented actress the spacious, super-luxurious tent that is given only to PM Narendra Modi. Comprising a living room with sofas, a television set and multimedia players, two well appointed bedrooms with plush en-suite washrooms, and two dressers, the tent, located in the desert adjacent to the national border, was bullet-proof.
After an extensive day-long promotion of Tumhari Sulu at the vibrant festival (that's spread over 25 acres), Vidya relaxed in the PM's tent before returning to Mumbai.
`The tent was beautiful. It felt like royalty and the service was impeccable,` smiles Vidya.
Produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment, Tumhari Sulu releases worldwide on November 17.
