While some actors may be the kings of roads, Akshaye Khanna, who loves speed, rules the high seas.

Recently, while doing a photo-shoot on a speedboat for a high profile magazine, Akshaye suddenly took off on the speedboat.

Everyone was left aghast and gaping. But what a sight it was to see the stylish Akshaye navigate the speedboat in true "Baywatch" style. And the girls from the magazine lustily cheered him on.

"Very few people are aware that Akshaye is a water baby. He loves sailing. As a teenager he took lessons from professional trainers and had even planned to captain a ship," said a close friend.

"The actor is also busy hunting for properties along the Goa coastline where he can go sailing and water sports during weekends. He is also looking out for an exclusive made-to-order yacht, like the one in a scene in 'Humraaz'," he added.
