Setting the record straight, veteran Producer Mukesh Bhatt clears the air on the sexual harassment controversy that has been plaguing the world. He explains that he was misquoted and misinterpreted by selected media portals with regards to his quote on women being cunning and exploitative.

Commenting on the same, Mukesh Bhatt said, `What I said and what is presented are completely opposite to each other. I said that sexual harassment is not gender specific and in some instances men take advantage of it and in some instances women take advantage of the same. But it was twisted, turned and completely put out of context.`

He further went on to add that, `I stand by the firm belief that sexual harassment should not happen in the first place and shouldn't be gender specific.`

Harrowed by this experience, he further added, `I don't appreciate being misquoted, especially when it comes to such sensitive points of discussion.` One of the most respected producers in the industry today, Mukesh Bhatt is never one to mince words. He has always spoken out in support of what he believes in.
