One of the biggest stars of Bollywood Priyanka Chopra is now the 'Sexiest Asian Woman' in the world, a poll was conducted by London-based weekly Eastern Eye and the Global Star Priyanka Chopra has dethrones Deepika Padukone, who topped the list last year.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that the global star has made her presence felt on the list. She previously held the top spot in 2014 and 2015.

Thanking the fans for the honour, the 35-year-old said, "I cannot actually take credit for this at all. Full credit should be given to my genetics and your optics! Thank you Eastern Eye and to everyone who voted for me to be Asia's Sexiest Woman, for what I'm told is a record breaking number of times! I feel grateful and am humbled. Consistency is key."

Priyanka shared a post on her social media as well and wrote, I should thank my mom and dad for this award...lol! It's purely their genetics and also the immense love you guys give me every single time which has put me on top of the list 5 times over. Thank you #EasternEye... you do know how to flatter a girl!"

Deepika came in third, one below TV star Nia Sharma while Alia Bhatt held the fourth spot.
