In this world full of remakes, Salman Khan has come up with a bright idea as well. He has asked producers Sunil Manchanda and Mukesh Talreja to make a sequel to his mega hit Tere Naam and take the story forward.

When contacted, Manchanda said: "It's not yet fully confirmed if we will make the sequel to Tere Naam but we are definitely toying with the idea and are currently working on the script. Let's see. If the final output of the script excites us, we'll definitely go ahead with it."

Though Manchandra confirms that the film would definitely star Khan, he refuses to divulge anything more about the project and is also keeping quiet about the other cast.

In the earlier part, the film ended with Salman opting to go back into the mental asylum as he is deeply affected by the death of his ladylove.

The sequel will supposedly have Salman coming out of the asylum and finding out how the world around him has changed. The prequel was directed by Satish Kaushik and also starred Bhoomika Chawla.
