Well-known Tamil director Bharathiraja has roped in Bollywood actor Nana Patekar for his second Hindi film "Cinema" and describes it as "revolutionary".

Nana Patekar, whom Bharathiraja considers "a different actor", plays the lead role in "Cinema".

Bharathiraja's first Hindi film was "Lovers", a re-make of Tamil original "Alaigal Oyvathillai", which was released in 1983.

The Tamil director, who is known to be a trendsetter, made his directorial debut with "Pathinaru Vayathinile", which also gave Kamal Haasan his first big break as an actor.

"Cinema" is to be remade in Tamil under the title "Bommalattam" (Puppet Show).
