When India came into the league of superpower nations everyone was elated and excited but there are hardly many people who know the story behind it and 'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' is one film which will take back to that era and tells you the untold story behind it.

'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' is an ode to those unsung heroes, who worked tirelessly and gave their blood and sweat to make a mark in the history.

'Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran' gives you a feeling of patriotism and national pride, that how in those times all the agencies worked together and successfully managed to execute the nuclear program within a few days.

The narration of the film is pretty ordinary and doesn't hold one's complete attention. It doesn't give you any extraordinary feelings still won't disappoint you.

The performances of all the actors are up to the mark. Boman Irani as Himanshu Shukla, John Abraham as Ashwat Raina, Diana Penty as Ambalika Bandhopadhyay and Anuja Sathe as John's wife all have done justice to their characters.

Though the story is based on real-life events still the cinematic liberties have been taken. There are few scenes in the film where you try to find logic but then you can ignore it.

The music of the film is pretty ordinary and really doesn't require any special mention.

The cinematography, editing, and screenplay helped the film to form a good narrative.

Director Abhishek Sharma has done a good job, though in the first half it was patchy and took some time to settle in the second half he manages to grip the film.

Overall it's a good weekend watch with 3 stars.
