In a startling display of adult erotica, on Friday evening Sanchita Bhattacharya, the 13-year old winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs belted out a spirited and sensuous item song for Rajat Kapur's forthcoming film Mithya featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Neha Dhupia.

According to the producers Planman Motion Pictures, "Sanchita was the perfect candidate since she's fresh eager and vibrant. Her youth doesn't come in the way of her nuanced expressions. Sanchita has done a brilliant job."

When contacted Sanchita seemed rather excited by the prospect of singing for Neha Dhupia. "I had to make sure that all the feelings came out right. Nehaji has performed such foot-tapping item songs.

I didn't want mine to be lost in the crowd. It was a racy numbers- composed by a new music director Sagar Desai.. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. It was my first playback song. I hope to do lots more."

Life seems like a bed of roses for the Li'l Champs winner. "I know I've a long way to go. And I've to work hard. Right now my life is filled with tv appearances and stage shows," says Sanchita.
