The Indian stand-up comedy scene has evolved over the last 5 years and the launch of Comicstaan marks another milestone. Having a platform to showcase your stand-up talent & being mentored by the best in the industry is any budding stand-up comedian's dream come true.

Following Comicstaan's social media pages, we came across their Contestant introduction videos & boy, do they look funny.

Besides that, we stumbled upon GOLD.

These new contestants were caught on camera taking digs at their very own mentors - who are also some of the best comedians in the industry today.

People always ask me if I am worried about competition. The truth is these young comics are really good. The sense of gratitude they have for us, I can just see it and feel it. I really am in awe. Hmm thanks #Comicstaan. Out on @primevideoin July 13th.
