J P Dutta who is all set to present Paltan based on the 1967 Indo-China war opened up about the recent situations between the two nations.

The relationship shared by India and China share at the border as well as at the political front is globally acknowledged.

China who had invaded India in the past has been trying to invade India again at the Eastern Ladakh border now, brigadier-level talks between the two armies are happening but there are still many 2 tents within our borders.

J P Dutta who has earlier presented two iconic films on our soldiers is now completing India's biggest war trilogy with Paltan. The filmmakers who is known for his war dramas shared his thoughts on the contemporary situations saying, "I have read the reports that the times of India has reported of the Chinese continuing to needle India a year after doklam... this is not new they do it to us all the time and our troops face this very often... this time since last year it's good that the country and the media are taking notice. Various defence ministers and also chief of army have always said that China is a greater threat than any other country to India."

One year after Doklam invasion, China intrudes 400m into Ladakh, just like they did during the Nathu La and Cho La clash, 1967

Based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border, Paltan showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.

Renowned filmmaker J P Dutta returns to direction after 12 years with Paltan. The national-award-winning director had earlier treated the audience with war films like Border, LOC Kargil, and Refugee among others.

With power-packed performances, the film promises to tell the riveting, untold story of the bravest of Indian soldiers who fought with their brothers next to them till the end.

Presented by Zee Studios and produced by J P Dutta Films, 'Paltan' is directed by J. P. Dutta and is slated to release on 7th September.
