Rupali Suri is known for her role in Wife Hai Toh Life Hai. Recently she bagged a role in Inside Edge 2. In a candid conversation, Rupli shared her excitement and her future plans.

Modeling, Anchor, Theatre then films. You have done all. How does it feel like?
It feels like I am running a never-ending marathon. An actor has to discover themselves with every phase of life and time, which is what I am doing.

How do you think theatre has changed your perspective towards acting?
Theatre has helped me to understand the character immensely and has also taught me to keep that character aside and disconnect from the role when I go back home. But also reconnect again when I am back on stage. The emotional connection with the audience and viewers is something I have learned through theatre. It's an exercise to keep myself fit.

Before you select an acting project, which is that one important aspect you look for?
A lot of things actually! It truly depends on your director. You have to trust their instincts and foresight. When you read the screenplay and the subject that tells you a lot about the whole project. After that comes the other part of the making.

What kind of films or roles would you like to do in your upcoming projects?
Oh, there is so much! I would like to try all. Be it serious, romance, dance, comedy, light characters or even a heavy one. I would also like to explore a message-oriented subject.

Why should I refrain from trying all? I am an actor and I like everything that my job has to offer me.

Which is that genre which you really want to explore as an actor?
Romance for sure! I am eagerly waiting for a good script in that genre to come my way. I feel love is a strong emotion which binds all

You are not very active on social media, why so?
Oops!! Maybe because I am normal? hahaha! I just think about working and progressively using my time to update and upgrade my self, personally and professionally both. Thus I end up not being active on social media that much. But lately, I have started to enjoy the platform a lot. I am new at it and am trying to explore.

What are the current projects you are working on?
There is theatre, fashion, and films So many things are happening at the moment. I would say let's wait till you see me.
