As part of YouTube`s ongoing mission to give everyone a voice, and show them the world, YouTube, along with Priyanka Chopra, Bhuvan Bam, Prajakta Koli, and Vidya Vox will be releasing a series of ads to highlight the importance of educating girls. Launched on the International Day of the Girl Child, the campaign is aims to generate awareness around the importance of girls` education in India.

Among a series of four ads running over the next several weeks, Priyanka Chopra, globally acclaimed actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, is breaking common stereotypes girls are used to hearing in the country today -- "Ladkiyan zaada uchal kud nahin karte", "Ladkiyan uchi avaaz main nahin bolti", "Padhai main kya rakha hai, ghar hi toh sambhalna hai", and ends with an appeal to give girls a chance at everything. Highlighting the cause and lending support to YouTube`s campaign, Priyanka Chopra has written a guest blog.

The ads will link users to stories from four NGOs that are making an impact in educating girls in India. Additionally, in its effort to bridge the learning gap in India, Google.org -- Google`s philanthropic arm, has announced a grant of $200,000 to UNICEF India to support ongoing efforts to improve access and quality of education for girls in the country.

Earlier this year, YouTube worked with fellow global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Lilly Singh, for the ad campaign on `Girls` Education` which aired on YouTube for several weeks. The new series of ads aims to take the campaign further rallying more support for the cause.
