Madhuri Dixit Nene is all set to give a new lease of life to the iconic character of Nisha, the wolf mother of Mowgli in the Hindi adaption of Andy Serkis' Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. The actress's memorable role from Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Aapke Hain Kaun! (1994) also shared the same character name.

The Bollywood diva is elated to venture into a new line of art. "It's an amazing experience for any actor to bring a character to life by just lending their voice. I watch a lot of VFX rich, adventure films with my sons.'' The actress states that her kids Arin and Ryan are huge fans of the 'The Jungle Book' series and have watched many versions of it. She further adds, "I have always wanted to lend my voice to such mysterious characters. I'm thrilled to finally get a chance to do this. To top it all, when I told my son about this, he got so excited and said -- 'That's so cool mom!' His reaction totally made my day.''
