Actor Naseeruddin Shah's son Imad, who was seriously injured after falling off a local train, last month has been discharged from hospital.

Imad (20), who was discharged yesterday, was successfully operated upon for fractures on his right forearm and thigh bone (femur) during his stay at the Hinduja hospital, hospital sources said.

"He is fine," doctors who attended on him said.

Imad, who fell off the train on November 23 was found on tracks near Lower Parel station with multiple injuries including "collapsed lung condtion."
