Dr Zeus's song "Gwandian" staring Richa Chadha and Varun Sharma embroiled in a controversy. A police head constable from a village near Jalandhar in Punjab, Amrik Singh Shera, claimed that the lyrics were originally penned by him in the '90s, for which he hadn't been credited.

Dr Zeus clears the air about the controversy and says "I have been unaware about Amrik Singh Shera's role in the song since I got the copyright from Amar Arshi. Personally, I believe in giving credit for where it is due and if I had known this then I would have definitely given him credit for his part. Now that I know the whole story, I would like to acknowledge Amrik Singh Shera for his great work and I want people to know that he is the actual writer for the blockbuster hit Gwandian Da Dhol."
