Doesn't she feel "Nishabd" is a bold role to essay at the very onset of her career?
"Luckily, the director has beautifully balanced my role in the film. There are multiple shades to my character. I am glamorous and funny. I laugh, I crack jokes and I cry. I am more than happy with the way it has shaped up," the newcomer added.
Jiah is also a trained opera singer and recorded six pop tracks when she was 16. Now she wants to record an album.
"Yeah I have sung the song in Nishabd all by myself. I love singing and mostly sing to entertain myself. But you'll have to wait and see what it's all about. But I love trance.
I've written and composed the music of a few tracks myself with the help of friends. I have learnt classical opera since a very young age. I have learnt the piano. I have been learning dance for nine years. Now I would like to do something experimental, a mix between Madonna, lounge music and Britney Spears," she tells.
