Dhanush starrer The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir has been winning applause worldwide for the incredible story and stellar performance by the lead star cast. The film recently had a premiere in Canada, and it was sold out. Well, it seems like the Canadian audience is a fan of Dhanush’s debut Hollywood film as well.

The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir is a French English-language comedy-adventure film, directed by Ken Scott. It is based on a novel by Romain Puertolas titled 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe.' The film released in France on 18th May 2018 and was highly acclaimed by the audience.

In the film, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, Dhanush plays the character of a street magician and trickster, who tricks people into believing that he possesses special magic powers and tries to swindle them.
