ALTBalaji recently announced its new web-series Mentalhood, a show on the crazy ride of Motherhood. Directed by Karishma Kohli, Mentalhood will see actress Tillotama Shome to the audiences in a new avatar. Raising kids is an art. Some make it into a highly precise science, but most of them are like tigresses protecting their cubs. Staying true to the title, the web-series will showcase the topsy-turvy ride of the various kinds of mothers that exist and how they manoeuvre their way through unreasonable expectations and eccentricities to raise their children. Multi-tasking becomes a habit and constant worrying and guilt feeling becomes their nature.

Tillotama who will be essaying the role of Preity Khosla, is a pushover mom of a monstrous kid. For her, parenting holds a different meaning. They say your vibe attracts your tribe, but for this harrowed mom, all that works is a bribe where her `nalayak` kids are like goons. Telling us more about the character, Tillotama shared, `Preity is a warm Punjabi mom who makes up for her lack of 'proficiency in English' with her warmth and unique style of dressing up. The preparation was largely in getting Priety's Punjabi tone right and Ritu, the writer of the show really helped me with that.`
