Casting Director Dinesh Sudarshan Soi whose casted movie 'Family of Thakurganj' has just released, will be seen in a fabulous music video as an actor starring Avneet Kaur and Riyaz Ali. Upon being contacted he confirmed the news. And this is not for the first time that he has acted as before this we have already seen him in popular TV shows Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya and Best of Luck Nikki.

"If a technical person like Casting Director makes an appearance even for a scene or two in any good project which is going to be promoted well, his/her heir face gets a mass recognition. And that's what it should be. Infact all the technicians should be facilitated in Award shows for a better recognition." said Dinesh Sudarshan Soi who has also done a movie 'Ishq Samandar' previously as an actor.


Known as one of the busiest Casting Directors, Dinesh Sudarshan Soi had made headlines for his feat in India Book of Records for 'Maximum Castings Accomplished' record followed by 'Finest Casting Director' title in Asia Book of Records. He seemed quite excited for having done acting after ages.

"Multiple people are responsible for making a project successful but as actors are the face of the project and directors get best out of those faces, so they generally receive more appreciations. The other crew who work behind the camera endlessly somehow remain unsung heroes and Casting Director is one amongst them. The reason for this is, Casting Director is a job which is not that much old in Bollywood and has yet to be explored fully. If you go back in the year 2000 or before that, only Director or his direction team or production people used to call actors/actresses as per their requirement. But with the passage of time, the scenario has changed and Casting Directors are playing a crucial role in any project. Now they are getting recognition as well as appreciation.
