It is a moment for national pride as one of our emerging filmmakers, Amit Chauhan will be presenting his filmmaking abilities at an international stage. Chandigarh based Amit Chauhan`s film `Identity` has been nominated for Best Feature Film at the Bayelsa International Film Festival (BIFF) to be held in Yenagoa, Nigeria from 2-5 October.
`Identity` is written and directed by Amit Chauhan, and is about a teenage girl who gets entangled in an online affair without knowing the true identity of her virtual lover. A modern-day Hitchcockian style tale of love, betrayal, and revenge. The film explores multiple themes and delves deep into the minds of isolated human beings and uncovers the ultimate dark side of cyber obsession and IAD (Internet Addiction Disorder).

The writer-director shall be attending the festival as a special guest, where his feature will compete against the likes of `Pray`, `Patricia`, `Growing Pain`, `My Silence` among others. The three-day the film festival will be presided over by the panel of Train Schickele, Saviour Agoro, Kene Mkparu, headed by Rob Nilsson.
