After leaving a mark with their stellar performances in their debut movies, Bollywood young stars Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday are now all set to star together in 'Khaali Peeli'.

The makers made the announcement on social media and wrote, "एक देढ़ शाणा, एक item, एक taxi, और एक रात की कहानी. अपुन ला रहे हैं 2020 ki सबसे रापचिक movie, #KhaaliPeeli! We are super excited to present our next with @aliabbaszafar & @ihimanshumehra ! Directed by @maqbool_Khan , the film releases on June 12, 2020."

The synopsis of the movie reads, `Set in the maximum city Mumbai, Khaali Peeli is a young, edgy roller-coaster ride that kick-starts one night when a boy meets a girl.`

'Khaali Peeli' will be produced by Zee Studios along with Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra. It will be directed by Maqbool Khan. Music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar has been roped in to compose the soundtrack for the movie.

The shoot starts on 11th September 2019 and it is slated to release on 12th June 2020.
