The massive set at Filmistan set up for Shahid Kapoor's song sequence which was to commence shooting today, is in ashes.

Ahmed Khan laments, "The entire set, along with expensive equipments costing more than Rs 70 lakh, has been completely destroyed. Initial reports say that it could have been caused by a short circuit."

So what were producer Feroz Nadiadwala's reactions to the mishap? Ahmed says, "I just spoke to him and all I have to say about Feroz is that he is a strong man.

He told me, 'It's entirely your call. You get started immediately, look for some other floor (in the studio) and recreate the set again'. So I have decided to put up the set and start shooting at Filmalaya within the next couple of days."
