Himesh had made a statement that even R.D.Burman was a nasal singer which upset Asha big time. However, recently, the two met up and cleared their differences. Himesh apologised to Asha Bhosle personally.

The two had a long chat before Asha forgave him. In fact, she even offered Himesh to sing with her for her album, Asha and Friends-2 which Himesh agreed to do. The song was also finalised and was called ‘Sorry Didi'.

Things however had to stop when T-Series learnt about this development because Himesh is bound by an exclusive contract by T-Series which stops him from singing commercially for any other music label. T-Series apparently sent a fax to Mauj, which is producing this album, to not sign Himesh for the song.

Himesh respects both Ashaji and T-Series; therefore, things had to be stopped. He explained his inability to Asha Bhosle and she understood.
