Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, admitted to a hospital here last week after he complained of chest pain, was discharged on Sunday.

"Saif Ali Khan was discharged this afternoon and is fine now," said an official of the Lilavati Hospital, where the 38-year-old was kept under obersrvation.

Khan underwent angiography test at the hospital.

Saif, son of yesteryear cricketer Mansur Ali Khan and actor Sharmila Tagore, complained of chest pain just before the 'Star Dust' award function was to begin on February 18.

He was adjudged the best actor in a negative role at the function for his performance in 'Omkara' and was rehearsing for a dance performance when he felt the pain.

Saif was accompanied by his mother, actor-sister Soha and girlfriend Rosa after he was discharged.
