Amazon Prime Video's 'The Forgotten Army' will be the biggest web series produced in India and has all the balls in its court to go high on the largest scale. The director of the show, Kabir Khan who has given us the best of films that is Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ek Tha Tiger, Sultan, and the upcoming sports-based film '83 is now going to give us a web series which is all set to go on India's leading OTT platform.

The show turned out to be a bigger one as it has been extensively shot in India, Thailand, and Singapore to give us all the realistic feels and chills while watching it. Interestingly, some of the places were recreated in order to not miss out on anything while watching and could make us visually enriching, time travel to the era.

The Forgotten Army tells the untold story of the freedom fighters who braved adversities and bullets to fight for the Independence of India.

The teaser begins with the men of the Indian National Army (led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose) playing cricket who are soon attacked by the enemies.

While speaking to the producers and show makers, Kabir was very clear of the vision and scale of this show. He didn't want to leave any part untouched while making the show and rather treated it like his baby project. He made sure that his entire original film team is part of this project and he himself directed the entire series just like he does a film. The series is based on true events and will chart the journey of several valiant men and women who fought for the country's independence as part of the Indian National Army.

Created and Directed by the ace director Kabir Khan, 'The Forgotten Army' will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January, 2020.
