While his only serial Left Right Left has been given a break and the chance to spruce up its act, Rajiv
Khandelwal is using the time provided in his small-screen schedule by the World Cup to do what he likes
the most.
"I'm going to travel extensively by car. I plan to take my mother and father on the longest
drive ever from my home town in Jaipur to Ladakh in the middle of March. I want them to experience this
journey. I know they'll enjoy it."
He laughs at the suggestion that this is his way of being the family
man.
"I don't know about," he laughs. "If by family you mean a wife and children then that's a long
way off for me. Yes, my parents are of utmost importance to me. And of late I haven't been able to spend
much time with them. This break will give me a chance to do so."
Rajiv is prepared for the
eventuality that his only serial Left Right Left might not return. "The ball is entirely in their court. If they
improve on the quality I'm on. Otherwise after I return from my road holiday with my parents I start preparing
for my movie career."
Rajiv has a couple of film offers in the piepeline. "But so far I haven't zeroed
in on any project."
