Chhapaak is based on a real-life story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and the diva Deepika Padukone has taken all our hearts for the way she played this role. Undoubtedly, Chhapaak is a movie with a strong social message and a movie which should be seen and understood by each and every one. The movie has brought out many facts which were unknown about the struggles of acid attack survivors. It can be clearly seen that despite being around the corner, Deepika Padukone has been recieveing such a good response for her role.
We saw many BTS videos of the movie which showed how difficult it was for the whole team of Chhapaak to play their individual roles and how everyone has nailed it. The makers has left no stone to make the best out of it and has carver every thing perfectly.
Chhapaak has been declared tax-free in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The government of Madhya Pradesh has also announced a huge campaign against the illegal sale of acid. Adding to it, the Uttarakhand government has declared a monthly pension scheme for the acid-attack survivor. Various states are giving their own positive contribution after the release of the film and this is a win-win situation for the film.
